Corkie Matson was absolutely amazing in so many ways. We met with Corkie having no idea what we wanted for our ceremony, other than something not so traditional. After our meeting with Corkie, we knew right away she was perfect to officiate our wedding, you can see her cheerful happiness when you meet or speak to her for the first time. She took the time to get to know us and personalize our ceremony to fit as perfectly. She knew what we wanted, when we didn’t even know what we wanted. We wanted an alternative to a unity candle ceremony, so she came up with a hand fasting ceremony that would be one of the most memorable parts of our wedding.
Fast forward to our wedding day. Corkie met with me right before the ceremony to go over any last minute items, which I loved because it put any nerves at rest. She even gave us both a small beautiful gift before the ceremony. It meant so much to us and it’s some thing we will cherish forever. I won’t spoil it for future brides and grooms!
During our ceremony, you can just tell this is so natural for Corkie. Her custom, personalized ceremony was PERFECT FOR US. I don’t know how she was able to come up with something so perfect without even knowing us personally and after a couple interactions. She made us, and our guests, laugh when appropriate and had many sentimental moments as well. Oh yes, there were tears. She involved the guests which we thought was super cool. Our guests were raving about her and how perfect our ceremony was. We would hire her a million times over!!
By the way, if she’s booked on your wedding date…. Change your date!!

Thank you so much Corkie for doing a wonderful job officiating our wedding! I've had the wonderful honor of being friends with Corkie for over half of my life, and she is such a wonderfully compassionate, intelligent, funny, and authentic soul. She did such an amazing job with our wedding, and Lyn and I are eternally grateful. It was a truly beautiful and special day, and Corkie helped us be at ease, allowed my wife and I to speak naturally and go with the flow, and she truly brought out the best in us and in everybody who attended! Lots of happy tears were flowing!
I would recommend Corkie / Dearly Beloved Celebrations again in a heartbeat for any wedding or special event. She's truly the best, and one of the most wonderful people I know! Love you Corkie.

Corkie is the most amazing wedding officiant! She really takes the time to get to know you and your love story, you would think she has known you all your life. Everything is very personalized and she has a lot of great resources and experience to help you customize your wedding ceremony. When she is speaking everyone is able to feel the love & she is great at making you feel the emotion. She is very genuine and she loves love, this is something that is shown in each and every ceremony.
