We met with Corkie having no idea what we wanted for our ceremony, other than something not so traditional. After our meeting with Corkie, we knew right away she was perfect to officiate our wedding, you can see her cheerful happiness when you meet or speak to her for the first time. She took the time to get to know us and personalize our ceremony to fit as perfectly. She knew what we wanted, when we didn’t even know what we wanted. We wanted an alternative to a unity candle ceremony, so she came up with a hand fasting ceremony that would be one of the most memorable parts of our wedding. Fast forward to our wedding day. Corkie met with me right before the ceremony to go over any last minute items, which I loved because it put any nerves at rest. She even gave us both a small beautiful gift before the ceremony. It meant so much to us and it’s some thing we will cherish forever. I won’t spoil it for future brides and grooms! During our ceremony, you can just tell this is so natural for Corkie. Her custom, personalized ceremony was PERFECT FOR US. I don’t know how she was able to come up with something so perfect without even knowing us personally and after a couple interactions. You tell me what you like and don't like, and together, we create the first draft. Over the years, I have collected many beautiful words that you can choose for vows, so don't stress over writing your vows. We’ll work on it until you say it is perfect. All meetings and correspondence, my writing, local travel, performing your ceremony (of course!) and submission of your completed license to the proper county agency.
